Training sessions are held once per week at Truganina South Primary School, utilising the school’s gym.

Training days and times vary depending on the individual team and age group and are determined prior to the season commencing.

All relevant training details are communicated to players and families once team allocations have been finalised.

Truganina South Basketball Club teams compete across a range of days, times, and venues depending on age group and competition. Game schedules are determined by the relevant basketball association and are confirmed prior to the start of each season.

Under 8 (U8): Friday evenings at Eagle Stadium

Under 10 to Under 16 (WBA teams): Saturday mornings and afternoons, primarily at Eagle Stadium. Some games may also be held at Other Venues eg. Werribee Primary School, Bemin Secondary College etc.

Under 16 & Under 18 Male (ABBA teams): Monday evenings at Altona Sports Centre.

Under 18 Female (ABBA team): Wednesday evenings at Altona Sports Centre.

Under 18, Under 20 & Under 23 (WBA teams): Tuesday evenings at Eagle Stadium.

Senior Men (WBA Teams) Wednesday evenings at Eagle Stadium.

All players and families are advised to check schedules at the beginning of the season, as game times and venues may vary.

The club uniform consists of a reversible singlet and shorts, with a set priced at $100.

In addition to the standard uniform, a range of optional club merchandise is available, including hoodies, beanies, training singlets and other apparel,

The basketball year is divided into two main seasons, which generally align with the school term calendar. Truganina South Basketball Club participates in competitions run by the Wyndham Basketball Association and the Altona Bay Basketball Association.

• Summer Season: October to March, generally aligning with Term 4 and Term 1 of the school year.

• Winter Season: April to September, generally aligning with Term 2 and Term 3 of the school year.

Season dates are set by the relevant basketball association and may vary slightly each year.
